We are seeking an Assessor (Clinician III LE or Clinician IV Licensed) for our Service Access program Remote Responsibilities and Duties for Assessor:
Complete comprehensive diagnostic assessments of individuals to determine medical necessity and eligibility for mental health and/or substance abuse services.
Guide individuals referred to WTCSB through a staged intake process in which eligibility, treatment readiness and motivation to change is determined; and intake and referral for direct service provision in completed.
Complete eligibility assessments Review and sign clinical and eligibility assessments completed by program staff.
Develop and implement individual service plans at initiation of services.
Develop individual crisis plans that include the individual's preferences regarding treatment in an emergency.
Comply with Human Rights Regulations/Reporting procedures.
Serve as a member of external and /or internal committees, attending meetings as requested or needed.
Perform other duties as assigned, related to program requirements and the provision of related mental health services.
Qualifications and Skills for Assessor:
Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related Human Services field.
A minimum of two (2) years' work experience in Human Services field, preferably in a mental health setting.
Candidate for Residency or Social Work Supervisee; or Resident in Counseling or Social Work Supervisee.
Clinical Licensure as an LCSW, or LPC preferred.
Valid current driver's license and acceptable DMV record at time of hire and continuously thereafter.
