As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing support and care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Duties:
- Assist individuals with daily activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and organizing living spaces.
- Implement individualized care plans and document individual progress.
- Support individuals in participating in recreational activities and community outings.
- Adhere to individuals rights and promote independence and self-determination.
Experience:
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is required.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary.
- Proficiency in vital signs monitoring and first aid procedures is desirable.
- Familiarity with assisted living regulations and protocols.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
