Supporting Navy Cyber Defense Operations Command (NCDOC) / Naval Network Warfare Command (NNWC), the Capability Manager will provide Enterprise support for Policy; maintain SME-level knowledge of current and future Policy Auditor components; provide SME-level input for development of Navy HBSS module policies and TTPs; create audits for Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) compliance; develop and test custom policy checks based on operational needs; recommend Group Policy (GPOs) to resolve compliance failures; and write custom scripts to resolve compliance failures where GPOs are not possible. The contractor shall facilitate delivery of HBSS Capability Manager tracking, artifacts, and documentation to the designated representative.
Job
Responsibilities:
Lead for the HBSS Policy Auditor for IT21 Afloat providing SME level input
Create Audits for IT21 Afloat
Vet DoD checks and benchmarks
Create custom checks/benchmarks
Recommend GPO settings to resolve compliance failures
Write custom scripts to automate manual checks and resolve compliance failures
Work closely with other SMEs and NETWARCOM experts
Required Skills and
Experience:
15
years IT experience
5
years administrating servers
3
years managing McAfee HIPS 7 and above
HBSS Policy Auditor experience
Solid understanding of securing operating systems
Familiarity with Microsoft GPOs
Secret clearance is required (GENSER)
Qualified candidates must be Information Assurance Technology (IAT) level II (DoD 8570.01) upon first day of employment.
