Joint Staff J-7, in support of the Chairman, trains, educates, develops, designs and adapts the globally integrated, partnered, joint force to achieve overmatch in the continuum of conflict under conditions of accelerating change in the character of war. As a Management & Program Analyst at the GS-0343-13 some of your typical work assignments may include:
Plans, develops and maintains the analytical and administrative operations connected with the formulation, presentation, and execution of the Joint Knowledge Online (JKO) program. Formulates plans and provides technical expertise regarding all aspects of staff operations throughout JKO. Participates fully with the Deputy Division Chief JKO to formulate goals, policies, and objectives for the division's day to day and long term operational, administrative and financial planning. Provides administrative program direction to JKO Leadership on civilian personnel utilization, security, and assignment management. Monitors implementation of higher-level policies and guidance and makes recommendations to adapt guidance for local situations. Develops and prepares guidance on a variety of complex policy issues which have been referred because of the complexity or sensitivity of the topics involved, precedent setting implications, short suspense time for response, deviation from established regulations, or other unusual actions. Identifies ways to improve or enhance current practices and programs to ensure the workforce is effective in meeting strategic objectives. Monitors the execution of major programs requiring inter-staff coordination for successful attainmen.t of the JKO Division's objectives. Serves as an expert consultant providing advice and recommendations for a wide variety of analytical and administrative operations connected with the formulation, presentation, and execution of the JKO program. Coordinates performance management reviews and insures consistency across the Division. Estimates and maintains liaison with various elements of the organization, Senior Leadership, Joint Staff, industry executives, senior executives, and general officers both internal and external to the command You may qualify at the GS-GS-13, if you fulfill the following
Qualifications:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service:
1. Applies laws, regulations, policies, and precedents applicable to human capital administration and management and financial resource management to ensure Joint Training program effectiveness. 2. Develops programmatic options for Joint Training and staff coordination utilizing DoD policies and procedures to ensure effective administrative policies and operating procedures. 3. Manages administrative matters and activities and the flow of information to provide recommendations for day to day and long term operational, administrative, and financial planning. Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
