Vehicle Description 65 Mustang Convertible w/ 289 C Code V8 with C4 automatic transmission, Power Steering, Front disc Brakes, and New Power convertible top.
The car was built in Dearborn, MI on June 30, 1965 and delivered to Charlotte, NC.
in Rangoon Red with a black Luxury Interior.
The Luxury interior is also referred to as a Pony interior and includes the following:
Five dial instrument cluster (rare for 1965) Woodgrain inserts on gauge cluster and glovebox door Uniquely styled glovebox door Molded door panels with Thunderbird-style, pistol-grip inside door-release handles Door-mounted courtesy lights Kick panels with carpeting on lower half and stainless trim strip Running horse-embossed bolstered seat upholstery Woodgrain Deluxe steering wheel Bright- Trimmed Pedal The interior also has a factory low profile Rally Pac and factory console.
The front seatbelts have been upgraded to shoulder belts for safety but the original lap belts are in the back.
The radio is a reproduction Am/FM radio with hidden aux input.
The front kick panels have Pioneer speaker pods molded in (The original carpeted kick panels come with the car) It also has (2) 3 infinity speakers hidden in the factory speaker location in the dash .
There is a powered subwoofer hidden under the spare tire in the trunk.
The car rolls on Original 14 FoMoCo steel rims with correct wire wheel covers with knockoffs.
It has GT Style rear valance with cutouts for exhaust tips as well as a GT Style front grille with fog lights.
It is powered by a nicely detailed 289 C code engine which has the stock cast iron intake with original autolite 2BBl carb, Air Cleaner w/ snorkel and correct valve covers.
The trunk is nicely detailed and contains a matching stock steel rim and goodyear whitewall tire.
It also comes with the correct jack and lug nut wrench.
This is a beautiful car that looks very much the way it did when it left Dearborn back in 1965.
